The education centre was established in 1976 in a renovated Edwardian style building. The school is at the heart of the University and very close to Cambridge town. 4 Cambridge faculties including Selwyn and Newnham are within walking distance to the school. Our tutors are all experienced and offer top quality education. Courses are available both in the morning and in the afternoons and range from general English courses to specific business English. The school also has an excellent record in terms of courses focusing on important language examinations such as Cambridge.
The teacher-training department offers Cambridge English Language Teaching for Adults (CELTA) and Diploma of English Language Teaching (DELTA) both having the option of choosing native English speakers and those from overseas.
Our vocational courses are defined in accordance with the needs of the student. All our students receive high quality education. Attendants can also make use of a large library, interactive video labs and a multimedia room with free internet access.
Additionally accommodation can be organised at either approved volunteer families or at the very recently completed student dorms.
Cambridge has a deep rooted and successful academic history and provides the ideal environment for education. You can be sure that you will feel part of the family very quickly.
